It’s 3rd ODI and high time for SA to pull up their socks as New Zealand seems to have pushing accelerator every match. With an unfortunate loss in first match they have come up even harder in second match and will be willing to continue the momentum till Champions Trophy because a loss from here could give a chance to South Africa to regain its short lost momentum again.
We have not seen any big knocks from any South African players and this is not the time to choke. Two of trio are expected to give a befitting reply to New Zealanders specially Boult, who is in lightning form.
In Last Match, Pretorius, as expected performed well with the bat and ball registered 50 runs with 2 wickets. Miller returned after an injury and could not convert a decent start to finish the game
Taylor lived upto the expectations with Neesham playing smart hands at the end.
Possible Lineup 1: Kock (wk), ABD, Amla, Williamson, Taylor, Brownlie, Morris, Boult, Southee, Phehlukwayo, Santner
Possible Lineup 2: Kock (wk), ABD, Faf, Williamson, Taylor, Morris, Pretorius, Boult, Southee, Phehlukwayo, Santner
To make batting lineup more balanced one can opt for Brownlie and replace him with Pretorius
# Faf is not in form so one can opt for Amla as he has already decent record gainst NZ.
# Latham’s form been a worry for NZ so they can either go for Luke Ronchi or can give Latham a chance in this match as well.
# Rabada is fit and ready to join the team.
