It’s the 5th one day international match and a decider after a thrilling innings by Martin Guptill in the last match. Final match is in Auckland, Eden Park and pitch seems to be supporting the spinners but its a true wicket at the start it will surely support pacers.

Andile Phehlukway injured in the last match but he is fit and can replace Morris who did not perform as expected in last two matches and may be Tabraiz Shamsi get a chance to play. David Miller and JP Duminy could not help to built innings which put undue pressure on first four batsmen. Finally in the series we saw runs coming out of Faf’s bat and this match may be the big one for him as he hasn’t yet performed. ABD superb as always but its finals and one man can not win.

With Guptill superb 180, Taylor made 66 runs and once again he showed why he is one of the best. Jeetan Patel threw a twist to the match by taking 2 wickets and Eden Park’s pitch surely going to support his bowling, Santner and Neesham as usual contributed with the ball by taking 1 wicket each. Southee was very expensive in last few matches though he has been taking wicket in every match in the series.Ferguson may get a chance to replace either Patel or Southee

With unchanged team Dolphins will be playing their 5 ODI on Friday against Warriors. So far this tournament has been good for the Dolphins, they have won 3 out of 4 matches. Keshav has already left to join New Zealand Test Team. Muthusamy who replaced Engelbrecht in the last match performed brilliantly and chipped 2 wickets with good economy rate, Jaarsveld and Wyk started good as an openers and built 100 runs partnership with Jaarsveld half century and from last couple of matches we are seeing runs coming from Jaarsveld and Wyk bat as well. Zondo played nice hands and pushed the score towards victory. With Nipper taking maximum 4 wickets followed by Muthusamy and Subrayen 2-2 wickets.

This is Warriors 4th match and out of 3 they have won only 1 and that too by the all -round performance of JJ Smuts, so it was most awaited performance from the talented player. Harmer and Ingram took 2-2 wickets each and none of the players scored 50 or more runs and highest being 33 runs by JJ Smuts.

Titans vs Knights (MODC)

Titans vs Knights, its their 4th match and seems Titans is all over the game. Henry Davids, who is performing in every match seems to be enjoying his time either with the bat or ball. His opening pair Vandiar also have been in great touch hitting 150+ in a match. Kuhn and A Morkel doing their part with bat as and when required.  Dala and Hawkins replaced M. Morkel and Mahlokwana and seems it done a trick for Titans as both took 3-3 wickets.

Morne Morkel joined the SA test Squad against New Zealand and Theunis De Bruyn is included also as ABD opted out of test cricket for most of 2017.

Cape Cobras vs Highveld Lions (MODC)

Click here to check offers on Mobile

Its Cape Cobras 5th match and they have won 2 lost 2 in the tournament. So far Cobras seems the balanced side with Levi, Ramela, Zyl, Ontong and Vilas on batting side and bowling being taken care by Kleinveldt, Williams, Piedt and sometimes Mgijima.  In last match Qwabe replaced Moreki but he did not perform well and went expensive. Jason Smith did not play in last match and replaced by Peterson but could not exploit the chance may make way for Jason Smith back to the team.

Lions journey so far not been so great as they have won only one match but with the likes of Reeza Hendricks, Dussen, Roux, Beuran Hendricks and Fortuin  they can come back hard any time.

Reeza’s bat is quiet from last two matches after hitting a century in first match. Dominic Hendricks and Mulder who replaced Cook and Bavuma in last match did not perform and this might get Bavuma back to the team as Bavuma is the only player who has made half century in his last match and after Reeza Hendricks’ century

South Africa vs New Zealand (4th ODI)

Guptill is back. He has joined the New Zealand squad for the rest of the two odi matches and expected to open with Brownlie. After the collapse of NZ batting in 3rd ODI they must be thinking to make some changes in the team. In last match Ferguson replaced Sodhi but did not perform well and went expensive, Matt Henry might be another option to replace Ferguson. Jeetan Patel has been included in the squad seeing the turning nature of the pitch and might get a chance above Sodhi.

Tom Lathan and Neil Broom likely to be axed for the 4th ODI because of their continuous dismal performance so far in the series which could give a chance to Luke Ronchi.

RSA players must be pretty much warmed up, motivated after getting huge win over NZ in the last match and they will look to win the series instead of making 5th ODI as the decider. So far Kock has been performing very well, consecutive 50 in last two matches and this could be the match to mark 100. Amla and Faf both the players are not in form and it hardly takes a fraction of second for these classy players to start performing. ABD has always been a remarkable.

Morris dropped last time and Parnell was retained. May be this time Morris will come but not at the expense of Parnell who performed really well in the last match. Kasigo Rabada is fit and will prove his fitness before the match and most likely to be included in the team. But just like New-Zealand, South Africa has also started bowlers rotation policy.

Pitch looks like giving some aid to spinners so NZ might give a chance to Jeetan Patel or Ish Sodhi and Tahir may regain its lost charm in this series. South Africa may be looking towards Tabraiz Shamsi but he will be replacing whom? The question remains unanswered

Possible Lineup 1: Kock(wk), ABD, Amla, Williamson, Taylor, Guptill, Pretorius, Santner, Boult, Southee, Parnell/Phehlukwayo.

Possible Lineup 2: Kock(wk), ABD, Miller/Duminy, Williamson, Taylor, Guptill, Pretorius, Santner, Boult, Southee, Tahir/Rabada.

CAP: Williamson/ABD

VC: Taylor/Pretorius

Titans vs Highveld Lions (MODC)

A mammoth win by the Titans in their last match against Cape Cobras has certainly given them a boost against firing Highveld Lions, which has lost their last match against Dolphins. A team studded with Reeza Hendricks, Bavuma, Phansigo and Fortuin will be looking to get their form on track against Titans.

Possible Lineup: Mosehle(wk), Bavuma, Vandiar, Davids, R. Hendricks, Kuhn, A.  Morkel, M. Morkel, Fortuin, Von Berg, B. Hendricks.

CAP: Davids/Vandiar

VC: R. Hendricks/Kuhn

Vandiar and Davids of Titans together registered a 300+ partnership with each on contributing 150+ and Albie Morkel played the fast hands at the end.

Von Berg one of the finest bowlers of SA took 4 wickets and he has been all praise by his team and coach Mark Boucher.

Morne Morkle contributed with 2 wickets but he can be replaced by Siboto, A young medium pacer.

Kuhn, though did not perform well due to the Davids and Vandiar partnership in the last match as he got down to bat in final overs but he is a batsman of caliber.

Dolphins vs Cape Cobras(MODC)

After a stunning win by Dolphins in the last match with stellar performance by Maharaj and Frylinck has given them a chance over Cape Cobras who has lost their last match againts Titans.

O Ramela will be looking to continue his form. Levi, Ontong and Zyl did not impress in the last match and will try to regain the lost ground against Dolphins who seems unstoppable.

Possible Lineup: Wyk (wk), Erwee, Jaarveld, Levi, Ramela, Zyl/Ontong, J. Smith, Frylinck, Maharaj/Shezi, Kleinveldt, Williams

CAP: Levi/Frylinck

VC: Ramela/Wyk

One can take Zondo in place of Jaarsveld as he performed in the last match but if we look overall performances then Jaarsveld is much better.

Zyl and Ontong both are very good player and opting one leaving other is not fair but Dolphins has some serious competition. Ramela has already performed consecutively in last two matches and expected to perform in 3rd as well but one can replace him and can take both Zyl and Ontong

Knights vs Warriors

Momentum One Day – 7th Match between Knights and Warriors.

Warriors has played two matches in the tournament and lost both.  Most valuable player JJ Smuts has not lived upto the expectations and hoping to turn around things in this match. They have a strong batting line up starting with JJ Smuts followed by Ingram, Ackermann.

Knights started the tournament with a Bang..!! by registering win over Cape Cobras. A brilliant contribution by Theunis de Bruyn with the bat smashing 132 runs in just 117 balls. Biljon and Rosier contributed well to past over 300 score. Lange and Schalkwyk were the pick of the bowlers with 4 and 2 wickets.

Possible Lineup: Cloete(wk), Ingram, Vallie, Rosier, Biljon, Gqamane, Smuts, Ackermann/Plooy, Lange, Schalkwyk, Magala

CAP: Ingram/Smuts

VC: Plooy/Biljon

# Bruyn is injured and is not selected in the squad for saturday’s  match

# Plooy is expected to replace Bruyn and he is having a average of 71 in List A matches. One can replace Ackermann with Plooy.

Cape Cobra vs Titans

Clash of the Titans. Well it’s gonna be. Titans is studded with very fine players though they lost last match and their very first match of the League. Well hard to get 11 or probably from Titans as they have very good players, Morkel Brothers, Elgar, Wiese, Siboto but Cobras are not too well behind with Levi, Zyl, Philander, J. Smith and Kleinveldt.

Possible Lineup 1:  Moonsamy(wk), Zyl, Levi, Elgar, Davids/Kuhn, J.Smith, Albie Morkel, Wiese, Philander, Kleinveldt, Morne Morkel

You can take Vilas inplace of Moonsamy. I have chosen Moonsamy as he holds good records. Davids I have taken just to balance the batting side he can be replace with O Ramela or any other batsman/bowler.

Other good bowlers you can choose are Siboto, Dale, Peidt and All rounder is Migijima who put up nice performance till now and lil’bit reliable be he have not bowled in last two matches.

Possible Line up 2: Vilas(wk), Elgar, Zyl, Levi, Smith, Mgijima, A. Morkel, M. Morkel, Siboto/Ngidi, Philander, Piedt

Cap: Elgar/J.Smith

VC: Levi/Zyl

# Hein Kuhn did not play first match as he was injured. He is expected to play.

# Hint of playing Von Berg and he South Africa’s finest spinner ~ Mark Boucher

# Ngidi is expected to replace Zorzi. Ngidi is a class bowler and he performed exceptionally well in SriLanka – S.Africa series.

Warriors – Cape Cobra (SA League)

South African League has started and it’s a 4th Match. Both the team are filled with good players and it’s a 50 over match. And Match is going to be played on East London Ground and as we see past matches score so it is not so good for the batsmen.

Team: G. Cloete(Wk), R. Levi, S.Zyl, Ingram, Ackerman/J.Smith, JJ Smuts, G. Linde, Philander, Kleinveldt, Magala, Birch.

One can choose either Ackerman or J Smith. Ackerman is a goot batsman and J. Smith is an All Rounder. Philander did not play in 1st match but he is back now.

Cap: JJ Smutts/Levi

VC: Ingram/Ackerman
