IPL: Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab, 36th Match.

After loosing their respective last matches, Delhi Daredevils will be playing against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali.

Surprisingly with one of the strongest bowling line up and filled with young and talented batsman Delhi Daredevils is at the bottom of the table with 2 wins and 5 losses. Zaheer Khan’s captaincy has been remarkably different this season but yet to generate some positive results for the team. Giving more impetus to batting side, Daredevils has included Marlon Samuels as a replacement of Quinton de Kock.

Daredevils played last match against Knight Riders. Daredevils batting first got the decent start with Samson and Karun Nair quickly added 48 runs in just 29 balls and mostly by Samson. Nair who has been out of form from a long time got out scoring only 15 runs. Well he is one of the weak keys in the team who is letting down the team with his performances even after having tremendous amount of talent. Next came Shreyas Iyer and after missing first couple of matches due to illness, he has been performing really well as and when required. Iyer and Samson built up the partnership of 75 runs for the 2nd wicket. Samson seen again in his prime touch and scored 60 runs off 38 balls only.  Iyer on the other hand shaping his inning and adding runs to the board. Next came Rishabh Pant, who showed some promising performances at the start of the season but failed miserably after than and the important push he gave has been missing from last few matches where mostly Delhi seemed to be struggling a bit more. Pant scored only 6 runs. Iyer who was moving towards his another fifty but Coulter Nile stopped him at 47 runs. By the Delhi Lost 4 wickets for 140 runs. Morris who has been known for clean and hard hitting could not add up much and got out scoring only 11 runs off 10 balls. Corey Anderson struggled infront of KKR’s bowling and got run out by the brilliant fielding by Jackson and Gambhir. Ankit Bawne who replaced Tare played 12 balls but unable to hit any big shots and scored run a ball. Daredevils posted only 160 runs even after getting the solid start but by the poor performance of middle order batsman in the last 4 overs. In response, KKR lost their temporary astonishing batman Narine and Rabada clean bowled him and gave his team the ideal start. Rabada was on fire and again he was almost succeeded in taking wicket of Uthappa but the confusion between Amit Mishra and Sanju Samson gave him a life and the ball fell in between both of them. Then there was no looking for Uthappa and he played smashing inning by scoring 59 runs off 33 balls. He got run out by Nair brilliant throw but it was too late for Delhi to make a comeback. Gautam Gambhir once again led from the from and hit amazing fifty. Though the match already gone out of hand but it was Rabada who clean bowled Manish Pandey with his super pace bowling. Lastly it was unbeaten inning of Gautam Gambhir who led the team to win by 7 wickets in hand. Rabada was the only one who took 2 wickets. Rest of the Delhi’s bowlers were wicketless.

Kings XI Punjab once again has started feeling the heat. Frequent changes and continuous losses has put them on a backfoot. With 3 wins and 5 losses, they are at the 6th position. Last match they played Sunrisers Hyderbad. Batting first Hyderabad put up a huge score of 207 on the board and it was again due to the top order batsman and one of the best openers in IPL. Dhawan and Warner gave Hyderabad the ideal start and scored 107 runs for 1st wicket partnership. Warner smashed 51 runs in just 27 balls and clean bowled by Maxwell. Next came Kane Williamson who struggled a bit at the start of his season to get a chance to play but once he got into the team he has cemented his place and continued doing in this inning too. Dhawan scored quick 77 runs in just 48 balls and picked up by Mohit Sharma. Punjab’s bowlers were getting beaten very very badly. Maxwell took the his 2nd wicket by picked up the wicket of Yuvraj Singh but it was unbeaten inning of Williamson which enabled Sunrisers to crossed 200 mark and gave the tough target to Punjab. Maxwell took 2 wickets followed by Mohit Sharma 1 wicket. Ishant Sharma who came in place of Sandeep Sharma proved to be very costly. Anureet Singh bowled the 2nd costliest spell of the match. In response, Punjab came up with new combination Guptill replaced Amla who was injured opened the inning with Vohra. Punjab lost its first wicket and it was Vohra who scored only 3 runs. Guptill as he is known for his hard hitting started well but could not convert it big and he lost his wicket to Bhuvneshwar scoring only 23 runs off 11 balls. Shaun Marsh and Maxwell were on the crease but before they started to rebuilt the innings Kaul took Maxwell at Zero. Morgan who came in place of Stoinis added 73 runs with Marsh for 4 wicket partnership and at once it seemed like this pair can chased down the target but it was Rashid Khan who played the role he is getting known for and picked up Morgan scoring 26 run off 21 balls. W. Saha continued his unusual and impulsive batting and got out scoring 2 runs only. His continuous failure has pushed him down the batting order but it seems he is yet to learn a lesson. Till the time Marsh was on the crease, the target looked to be chase-able but a continuous fall of the wickets on the other hand pushed him further to take more chances and eventually he got out scoring fantastic 84 runs off 50 balls. Axar Patel and Anureet Singh added 30-40 but it was the superb bowling by Nehra and Kaul who could not let the Punjab to score further and they lost by 26 runs.

Probable 11:

Delhi: R. Pant (wk), S. Samson, K. Nair, S. Iyer, C. Morris, C. Anderson, A. Bawne, P. Cummins, K. Rabada, A. Mishra, Z. Khan

Punjab: W. Shah (wk), M. Guptill, M. Vohra, S. Marsh,G. Maxwell, E. Morgan, A. Patel, A. Singh, M. Sharma, I. Sharma, K. Cariappa

Quick Stats:

Marlon Samuels has joined the DD’s camp on 29th April as a replacement of Quinton de Kock and if Delhi decides to include him in playing 11 for Sunday’s match then they have to choose either Cummins or Rabada. But Samuels has just joined so chances are less likely that Delhi will put him directly on the field.

Zaheer Khan had to leave the field in last match due to the pull in hamstring and if there is anything series then it might happen Shami will get a chance.

Corey Anderson did not perform in last two matches and Delhi may go for Mathews or Brathwaite

Amla is fit and but it will be a challenge for Punjab to whom he should be replaced with.

Sammy who was injured and out of the IPL for 1st 3 weeks is fit and ready to join the team but seeing the weak bowling side of Punjab it might happen Matt Henry get a chance to bolster the bowling attack. In both the case it will be Morgan who is more likely to make way for any one of them.

Sandeep Sharma most likely to join the team in place of A. Singh.

Ishant Sharma who again failed to perform may lost his place to Varun Aaron or T Natarajan

Stay tuned for all the latest updates till the match starts.

IPL: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, 27th Match

Kolkata Knight Riders are on a roll and with 4 wins they are at the 2 position having lost only 2 matches against Lions and Mumbai Indians. Raina came in and joined McCullum and as soon as they start getting runs Woakes bid a good bye to McCullum at the score of 73 runs. It was getting difficult for Lions batsman to stick on the wicket except Raina, who was a lone warrior. One by One wickets were falling by. Next one to go was In form D. Karthik and again it was the Coulter Nile who picked up his 2nd wicket. I. Kishan played wonderful inning in earlier match but not this time. Kuldeep Yadav economic bowling paid off and Ishan Kishan lost his wicket after scoring 4 runs. Now it was another Yadav’s turn, D. SMith lost his wicket to Umesh Yadav and then it was Jadeja and Raina’s 58 runs partnership for 6th wicket which did the wonders. Kuldeep Yadav got too late to pick Raina’ wicket who has already played the Captain Knock and scored 84 runs off 46 balls. Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing their 7th match and is at the 7th position with 2 wins and 4 losses. Luckily for Bangalore Gayle performed in the last match and good news is AB de Villers and Badree are fiy and likely to be a part of playing 11. RCB played their last game against Lions at Rajkot. Gayle and Kohli opened the inning and they were hitting the ball everywhere and together they added 122 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. And it was so amazing to see the big man playing after a long long time. Gayle scored 77 runs off 38 balls and picked up by Basil Thampi. Kohli continued his inning and with Travis Head, they added 37 runs for the 2nd wicket partnership and when Dhawal Kulkarni comes in and Kohli lost his wicket in trying to park the ball outside the boudary. Kohli scored 64 runs off 50 balls. Unbeaten Travis Head and Jadhav put up 54 runs and posted the score of 213 in 20 overs. In response, Lions lost their 1st wicket very early and Chahal gave the breakthrough by picking Dwayne Smith in 2nd over of the match. As soon as Raina came in and started hitting the ball really really hard but it was Chahal who had decided whosoever comes his way won’t go unpunished. Raina scored 23 runs off 8 balls and picked up by Chahal. It was Finch and McCullum partnership who gave hope to Lions and added 66 runs for 3rd wicket partnership. Negi picked up Finch’ wicket and Lions were 3 wickets for 103 runs. Karthik joined McCullum and when it looked they will finished the game it was Aravind who sent the Karthik in the very next over. Lions were looking for a partnership and McCullum needed someone to stay with him. Jadeja comes in looked to stay on the wicket but again Chahal comes in and picked up the wicket of set McCullum and Lions lost their 5 wicket for 137 runs. Jadeja and Kishan tried to pull up the match with some big shots but the score was too big for them to be chased down Jadeja got run out and Milne picked the I. Kishan’s wicket. Lions added up 192 runs and RCB won by 21 runs. Chahal was the pick of the bowler. He picked 3 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs followed by Negi, Milne and Aravind 1 wicket each.

Probable 11:

Kolkata: R. Uthappa (wk), G. Gambhir, S.  Narine, M. Pandey, Y. Pathan, S. Yadav, S. Hasan, C. Woakes, Coulter Nile, K. Yadav, U. Yadav.

Bangalore: K. Jadhav (wk), C. Gayle, V. Kohli, Head/ABD, Watson/Badree, Mandeep Singh/Harpreet Singh, S. Binny, P. Negi, A. Milne, S. Aravind, Y. Chahal.

Quick Facts:

ABD and Badree are fit and likely to replace Head and Watson.

Harpreet Singh new face added to the RCB squad as a replacement of Sarfaraz Khan and may get a chance in place of Mandeep Singh as he has been a disappointment this season.

T20 specialist Tymal Mills  likely to get a chance in place of Milne.

IPL: Gujarat Lions vs Kings XI Punjab, 26th Match

Two teams Gujarat Lions and Kings XI Punjab after playing 6 matches each in this season still struggling hard to find their winning combination. Both the teams have won 2 matches and lost 4 matches and a win from here will give them a chance to climb up the ladder.

Gujarat Lions played last match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Lions won the toss and asked Knight Riders to bat. Narine and Gambhir gave KKR ideal start. From the very first over Narine was after the ball and looked to hit every ball. He was unstoppable and beaten Lions opening attack very very badly till Captain Raina himself came to bowl. Raina picked up Narine wicket at the score of 45 runs out of which Narine scored 42 runs off 17 balls. Uthappa joined Gautam and they added 69 runs for the 2nd wicket partnership. Gautam Gambhir as usual was looking good but missed the shot on Faulkner bowling and got caught scoring 33 runs. On the other hand Uthappa was going fine and getting the runs with his usual rate. Pandey and Uthappa added 55 runs and when it was going good Praveen Kumar comes in and picked up Uthappa’s wicket. He scored 72 runs off 48 balls. Basil Thampi who has been bowling really good from last couple of matches clean bowled Manish Pandey on 24 runs. Unbeaten Yusuf Pathan and Shakib posted the score of 187 runs in 20 overs. P. Kumar, Faulkner, Thampi and Raina took 1 wicket each. It was big score and against the bowling line up like KKR it was too tough for Gujarat Lions. In response, Lions got the same start as KKR, this time it was Finch who opened the innings with McCullum and smashed 31 runs off 15 balls. Finch and McCullum added 42 runs for 1st wicket and when Coulter Nile comes in and sent Finch to the pavilion. Suresh Raina comes next and started leading from the front and on the other hands wickets kept falling. Next one to go was McCullum, who scored 33 runs and picked up by Woakes. Karthik scored only 3 runs only and in the next over he was picked up by Coulter Nile. Raina took the charge and with Ishan Kishan added 34 runs for 4 wicket partnership but the contribution from Ishan Kishan was only 4 runs. Kuldeep Yadav picked his wicket and by then Lions lost their 5 wickets on 115 runs in 11.4 overs. It looked like the game for Lions was over when Lions lost Dwayne Smith as theri 6th wicket. But then came Sir Ravinder Jadeja and with Raina, he added 58 runs for 7th wicket partnership. In 18th over Kuldeep Yadav give KKR must wanted break through and picked Raina scoring 84 runs but it was too late for them. Lions needed only 8 runs off 13 balls. Unbeaten Jadeja and Faulkner chased down the target in 18.2 overs and Lions won the match by 4 wickets.

Kings XI Punjab is at the 6 position and it seems after giving some solid performances luck is not on their side and still they are devoid of win. Punjab played their last match against Mumbai. Batting first, it was Shaun Marsh who opened the inning with Amla and gave Punjab a good start. Marsh who was playing his first match this season scored 26 runs off 21 balls and lost his wicket to McClenaghan. Marsh and Amla added 46 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Saha continued his impulsive inning and getting out early. This time also he was in a hurry and scoring only 11 runs. Maxwell who came to bat in 11th over joined Amla and both added 83 runs for 3 wicket Partnership. This time it was McClenaghan who was in Maxwell radar and gone for huge runs. Maxwell scored 40 runs off 18 balls only. On the other hand Amla continued his hard hitting and on his radar it was one of the best bowlers in the world Malinga. Malinga gone for 58 runs in his 4 overs. Amla’s unbeaten century posted 198 runs on the score board. In response, Mumbai got a smashing start. Parthiv and Butler added 81 runs for 1st wicket partnership. Stoinis who made a come back after couple matches picked up 1st wicket for Punjab and sent Parthiv Patel to pavilion. Butler and Rana continued and started getting runs even faster and in just 44 balls added 85 runs for 2nd wicket. Buttler scored 77 runs and picked by Mohit Sharma. Unbeaten Rana completed his fifty and Mumbai chased down the target in 15.3 overs only. Mohit Sharma and Stoinis were the only one who took 1 wicket each. Ishant Sharma and Stoinis went too expensive in their overs.

Probable 11:

Gujarat: D. Karthik (wk), A. Finch, B. McCullum, S. Raina, D. Smith, I. Kishan, R, Jadeja, J. Faulkner, P. Kumar, B. Thampi, D. Kulkarni.

Punjab: W. Saha (wk), H. Amla, S. Marsh, G. Maxwell, M. Stoinis, A. Patel, G. Singh, S. Singh, M. Sharma, S. Sharma, I. Sharma

Quick Facts:

Gujarat Lions would be looking to bring back Andrew Tye as it appeared in last match as well they lacked in bowling even though they won the match but not every time an inning played by Raina or any other batsman will save the match again. And if this happens then Dwayne Smith might be making way for Tye

Dwayne Bravo said he is fit but would need 1 or 2 games more to return back to side. It is yet to be seen if he will make a cut in playing 11 this time or not.

If Manan Vohra has recovered from illness then he will be replacing Gurkeerat Singh.

Ishant Sharma went too costly and has not been successful in taking wickets may make way for Varun Aaron

Cariappa can replace Swapnil Singh as he was not successful in last match as well.

IPL: Delhi Daredevils vs Mumbai Indians, 25th Match

A match will be worth watching. Young guns from both the teams are driving the game. Samson, Billings, Iyer, Rana, Krunal, Hardik are giving their more than 100% for their respective teams. Daredevils are at the 4 position with 2 wins and 3 losses ready to face Mumbai Indians with their power packed bowling side.

Delhi played their last game against Hyderabad. Hyderabad batting first put the target of 191 runs for loss of 4 wickets on 20 overs. Dhawan scored 70 runs off 50 balls and Kane Williamson smashed 89 runs off 51 balls in his first match of IPL 10. Except Morris all the bowlers were proved to be ineffective. Morris picked 4 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs. Jayant Yadav, Z. Khan, Cummins, A. Mathews and Amit Mishra went wicketless. In response Delhi did not the get the start it was looking for. Sam Billings lost his wicket scoring 13 runs only and he was picked up by M. Siraj who was playing his 1st match in IPL. Samson and Nair put up 71 runs partnership for 2nd wicket and after a long time Nair seemed in good touch. But he got run out by the brilliant fielding and coordination by Vijay Shankar and Yuvraj Singh. Nair scored 33 runs off 23 balls. Samson lost the wicket in the same over and it was M. Siraj again. Samson scored 42 runs off 33 balls. Pant due to his recent performances promoted up the order but it proved to go against the Delhi and Pant got out on a duck and picked up by Yuvraj Singh. Iyer and Mathews were on the pitch. Mathews just back from a long injury struggled in between and slowed down the run rate which took required run rate too high. Delhi missed the opportunity here to send the in form Chris Morris which costed them a match. Mathews got out scoring 31 runs off 23 balls and Morris came to the pitch but it was too late then and Delhi Daredevils lost the match by 15 runs. Iyer completed his fifty in last over and continued his good form.

Mumbai Indians is at the top of the table with 5 wins and only 1 loss. Mumbai Played last game against Punjab and won the match in style. Batting first Kings XI Punjab got the stable start. Amla and Marsh put 46 runs for 1st wicket partnership. McClenaghan who has been bowling really well from last few matches gone for hit but gave the first breakthrough and picked Shaun Marsh. Saha as usual trying to hit the ball and like everytime gave his wicket very easily. He was picked up by Krunal Pandya. Maxwell came up the order and wow he was smashing ball very very badly and it was McClenaghan at the receiving end but every inning has an end Bumrah came in and clean bowled Maxwell. But it was Amla’s inning which continued till the end and his first century in IPL. This time it was Malinga who was in Amla’s radar and this is one of the few times Malinga has been beaten roughly and badly throughout his career. Stoinis who got the opportunity did not make any impact and lost his wicket to McClenaghan. With his Punjab posted the score of 198 runs in 20 overs. In response, Mumbai got a smashing start by their openers and they were punishing a ball like anything. Parthiv and Butler put up 81 runs for 1st wicket partnership and then in form Rana came to bat. As soon as Rana joined the Butler it was one sided match. Both of them put 85 runs for 2nd wicket partnership and after a long time we have seen Butler real performance and what he is known for. He scored 77 runs off 37 balls. Rana on the other hand continued his golden touch with the bat and with Hardik Pandya chased down the target in 15.3 overs only. Rana scored unbeaten 62 runs off 34 balls.

Probable 11:

Delhi: R. Pant (wk), S. Samson, S. Billings, K. Nair, S. Iyer, A, Mathews, C. Morris, J. Yadav, P. Cummins, A. Mishra, Z. Khan

Mumbai: P. Patel (wk), J. Butler, N. Rana, R. Sharma, H. Pandya, K. Pollard, K. Pandya, H. Singh, M. McClenaghan, L. Malinga, J. Bumrah

Quick Facts:

Jayant Yadav bowled only 2 overs and may be replaced by Nadeem or Shami

Angelo Mathews has been ineffective with the ball though he batted decently. It might happen Corey Anderson get a chance if Daredevils look to make their side more stronger.

Lasith Malinga from last two matches did not look in his best form. He might make way for Southee or Johnson

It has been observed that Mumbai side is little bit vulnerable to spin bowling so Delhi Daredevils might give chance to spinners and bring in more established Nadeem into the team

IPL: Rising Pune Supergiant vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 24th Match

It’s been an awful journey for the Rising Pune Supergiant so far and ofcourse for the new Captain Steven Smith. A side studded with Big Names like Dhoni, Smith and Rahane is yet to make an impact. Standing at the bottom of the table with 2 wins and 3 losses Supergiant will be looking to rejuvenate themselves from hereon. They have got the 5 days break between their last and next match.  Pune pitch supports spinner little bit and both the teams will be looking to exploit the chances as they have quality spinners in the side.

Supergiant won their last game against Royal Challengers and that too at Challengers home by the collective bowling efforts. Batting first, Supergiant’s openers Rahane and Tripathi gave the smashing start and added 63 runs on the score board with the run rate of 8+ but sooner RCB put their best bowler Badree and he succeeded in picking up one of the best batsman against Spin, Rahane. He completely deceived by the ball and got clean bowled after scoring 30 runs off 25 balls. Rahul Tripathi showed what he can do with the bat against Lions and similar was expected from him against RCB as well. Going on the line he was hitting the ball with much more conviction but it was Negi who could not let him continue what his job was to do. Tripathi scored quick 31 runs off 23 balls – A job well done. This time Dhoni stood up with Smith and added 58 runs for the 3rd wicket partnership but very unusual to their batting style, they slowed down the run rate further. Pune lost both of them in back to back two balls. 1st one to go was Dhoni scoring 28 off 25 and he was clean bowled by Shane Watson. 2nd one to go was Steven Smith in the same way as Dhoni. He was picked up by Aravind scoring only 27 runs off 24 balls. After loosing two quick wickets by Pune, the further damage was done by Milne and Aravind. In next two over Pune lost 3 more wickets. Aravind picked up Dan Christian and further Milne who was playing his first match clean bowled Ben Stokes and in next ball sent Shardul Thakur as well to the pavilion. It was Manoj Tiwary quick fire 27 runs off 11 balls which enable Supergiant to post 161 runs to the score board. In response, RCB got a poor start and it was Shardul Thakur who gave the early breakthrough and sent the Mandeep Singh on a duck. It was Kohli and ABD on the crease the two most dangerous batsman in the world but it was not their day. Kohli who was looking in nice touch could not continue his inning further and scored 28 runs off 19 balls. He was picked up by Ben Stokes. Very much on the expected lines, Smith called Imran Tahir and to RCB’s disappointment he bid a good bye to his fellow AB de Villers. ABD scored 29 runs. Jadhav who has really getting the praise for his batting but not this time, Unadkat who was playing his 1st match clean bowled Jadhav and in the next over it was Watson who got clean bowled on Shardul Thakur’s bowling. RCB by then lost their 5 wickets on 101 and it looked like their game is over. Binny and Negi put some fast runs but it was not over for Pune. Thakur and Stokes came to finish the unfinished task and picked up Negi and Binny in back to back two overs. Shardul Thakur and Ben Stoke stole the show by taking 3 wickets each followed by Unadkat 2 wickets and Tahir 1 wicket.

Defending Champion Sunrisers Hyderabad are performing very much on expected lines. With strong batting and bowling line-up they are at the 3 position with 4 wins and 2 losses. They have an aggressive Captain who is known for leading from the front whether it is batting or fielding. And in this season they are one of the top contender to carry IPL 10 cup. Last match Sunrisers played against Daredevils and as expected it was more than entertaining with two strong bowling sides.  Sunrisers won the toss and very much unexpected to the trend chose to bat first. They were playing against one of the strongest bowling line up this season and got the taste very early. In form David Warner who is in prime form lost his wicket scoring only 4 runs and it was Chris Morris who sent him as early as it can be but Sunrisers played their game very well and this time they called Kane Williamson and with Shikhar Dhawan it was no looking back for them. They added 136 runs partnership for 2 wicket and put Sunrisers in strong position. Morris picked 2nd wicket and sent Williamson scoring 89 runs in just 51 balls. After this, Dhawan played some shot but it was Morris again who picked his wicket. Dhawan scored 70 off 50 balls. Next ball Morris struck again and it was dangerous Yuvraj Singh to go. Unbeaten Henriques and Hooda posted the score of 191 runs. In response, Delhi Daredevils lost early wicket of Billings and it was newcomer Sunrisers introduced who picked the wicket – M. Siraj. Nair and Samson put up 71 runs for the 2nd wicket partnership. Next one to go was Nair and he showed some commitment this and but could not stay on the wicket and got run out scoring 33 runs. Rishbah Pant promoted up the order but wasted the opportunity and got out on a duck. He was picked up by Yuvraj Singh. M. Siraj came in for the 2nd spell and soon he came, he pick up Samson and gave the required breakthrough to his team. Iyer and Mathews showed some resistance and added 70 runs for the 5th wicket partnership. But slow start by the Mathews and a call to send him before them Chris Morris cost Daredevils their match. Iyer completed his 50 and Mathews got out scoring 31 runs and taken by S. Kaul. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 15 runs. M. Siraj was the pick of the bowler from Hyderabad. He picked 2 wickets for 39 runs in 4 overs followed by S. Kaul and Yuvraj 1 wicket each.

Probable 11:

Pune: M. Dhoni (wk), A. Rahane, R. Tripathi, S. Smith, B. Stokes, M. Tiwary, D. Christian, S. Thakur, J. Unadkat, R. Chahar, I. Tahir.

Hyderabad: N. Ojha (wk), D. Warner, S. Dhawan, K. Williamson, Y. Singh. M. Henriques, D. Hooda, B. Kumar, R. Khan, M. Siraj, S. Kaul

Quick Facts:

Dan Christain has not been useful and can be replaced by Zampa as Pune pitch supports spinner and this can be the only move by Pune.

If they bring in Zampa then it is likely Rahul Chahar can be replaced by Deepak Chahar as Pune unlikely to go with 3 spinners and Deepak Chahar is fast bowler.

For Hyderabad as Williamson comes in and showed great performance, their top order seem to be perfect fit and Henriques could be axed because after first two matches he is yet to shine. If this happens then M. Nabi could be the one to replace him.

There is no update of Ashish Nehra. He is the important bowler and for Hyderabad it is important he should play as it is a long tournament and Nehra is experienced bowler and very useful too. If he is fit then S. Kaul could be the one to make way for him.

“thesportleagues in under suspension so till then it is up I will be posting here”

Mustafizur Rahman is up and fit as he struggled during test series against India due to injuries and bowling attach will be more powerful with Shakib, Mehedi Hasan, Taskin and Rubel. Its a subcontinent pitch and it supports spin so match would be interesting and both the teams are sort of equal with Sri Lanka leading lil bit due to Herath. But Bangladesh has Strong bowling lineup as well… Phewww… I hope it gets as interesting as India Aussie match. Once again its Morgan who has proved from his performance why he is very important. As a replacement Billings has been keen to prove his mettle and busy in doing it but he has to do more than just a half century to cement his place in the playing 11. Apart from Morgan, Stokes made 55 runs and Ali made unbeaten 31 runs. Woakes and Plunkett took 4-4 wickets to wrap up the WI sides. But WI did left an imprint with Jason Mohammed and Carter’s performance. Gabriel and Nurse took 2-2 wickets.

Both the teams would likely to go unchanged but in WI Rovman Powell might might get a chance to feature and he should as he is really a talent.

Buttler was a disappointment in the first match and it has been a while we have not seen his bat speaking and this could be the match or it may happen that Bairstow gets a chance to perform.

It’s a decider match between Southern Stars and White Ferns. Australia showed brilliant all round performance in the last match. B. Mooney in form made 57, while Lanning and Blackwell built the innings made the score too easy to chase. Blackwell being the top scorer made a come back after century with a half century and sent a strong message. Wellington and Farrell took 3-2 wickets but Perry who got injured in between could not come to bat and took only 1 wicket. And picture is still not clear if she will play in decider or not but as per news coming out she will probably play as she is the most imp play in the team.

The most talented and experienced player of UAE Shaiman Anwar did not perform but he could return to his form on Saturday where UAE will be needing his experience to win the match to equal the three match series with 1-1. Raza and Haider went very expensive in their spells with no success. Lots of will be expected from Anwar, Raza and Usman who failed to perform in the 1st match.
